Our Approach

At Thinkshift Transformational Therapy, we use an integrated or eclectic approach to supporting and assisting clients create the change they desire. We recognize that every person is unique, with their own range of vast experiences – and for that reason we have trained and developed a broad and varied range of therapeutic interventions.

At Thinkshift we believe that approach is what creates a significant point of difference, in that we have available to us not only the evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, but also approaches which are neuro-based and building an evidence base as they gain more widespread acceptance because they are highly effective, some of these are: Brainspotting,  Havening, Gestalt and Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as Tapping.

We use and embrace the power of other therapies:

Art Therapy to help clients gain greater awareness and insights through accessing the unconscious mind, Clinical Hypnotherapy to help change the sub-conscious and influence the conscious mind to change behaviours and habits and equine assisted psychotherapy where we work with clients in partnership with horses and finanlly Transpersonal Counselling allows those clients with a strong spiritual existence to receive assistance in a manner that is in harmony with their belief structures.
